Nelson Mail's Neil Hodgson's Pinot Noir Review

CopperLake 2008 Pinot Noir - $20 at FreshChoice and Liquorland in Golden Bay.
The light colour betrays the intense aromas and super flavours. The real surprise with this is the lashings of rich chocolate in the flavours that follow spiced cherry and liquorice aromas. Deceptively rich and a real treat that is very good value at $20.

New wines and new growth

We've now had bud burst on the vines, and the new leaves are pushing out!

Spring is in full swing, and the new growth everywhere is glorious.

We've released our CopperLake 2008 Pinot Noir, and have bottled our 2009 whites.
